VOTING ELIGIBILITY

ANNUAL MEETING & ELECTIONS 2023

All Chapter members in good standing are eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting - as long as joins/renewals were in the time frames listed below.

Please follow important info below to be eligible to vote Aug 5, 2023: 

If you need to renew your membership and have been a Chapter member in good standing at any time within the past five years, you must renew and pay dues no later than Aug 5, 2023 at 1pm EST to be eligible to vote.

If you are a new Chapter member, i.e., have not been a member in good standing within the past five years, you must join/renew and pay dues no later than July 29, 2023 at 4pm EST - a week before the meeting - to be eligible to vote.

  • All voting will be electronic, whether you attend in person or online.

  • Members in good standing may nominate themselves and/or nominate other members in good standing to run for Board positions.

  • Send nominations to the Nominations Committee at: nlg-elections@michigannlg.org

  • Our electronic voting system requires you to receive and send emails to cast your ballots. Please provide a current email address with your membership.  The email address provided with your membership will be used for voting.

  • If you are voting via Zoom, go to michigannlg.org/zoom Please zoom in between 3:50pm and 4pm, so we can check your voting eligibility. We appreciate your patience!
